There is a minimal amount of work out of the season but most of these positions will have some commitment needed in the off season. Executive Board Positions
President (Large Commitment)
Description: Provides overall leadership and oversight for the league, ensuring operations align with Little League rules, regulations, and the league's mission. Serves as the primary contact between Lake Stevens Little League and Little League International.

Expectations of All Board Members
Serving on the Lake Stevens Little League Board of Directors is a commitment to supporting the league, its players, families, volunteers, and community. While each Board Member has specific responsibilities associated with their position, all Board Members are expected to contribute to the overall success and operation of the league.
General Expectations
All Board Members shall:
- Act in the best interests of Lake Stevens Little League and its participants.
- Support the mission and values of Little League Baseball and Softball.
- Conduct themselves professionally, respectfully, and ethically when interacting with players, families, volunteers, coaches, officials, community partners, and fellow Board Members.
- Promote sportsmanship, player development, inclusion, and a positive experience for all participants.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive league matters, including player, volunteer, and league business information when appropriate.
- Support Board decisions once they have been approved by the Board of Directors.
- Complete all required volunteer registration, background checks, and training required by Little League International and Lake Stevens Little League.
Meeting Attendance
Board Members are expected to:
- Attend monthly Board meetings on a regular basis.
- Participate in discussions and decision-making processes.
- Review meeting materials and be prepared to discuss agenda items.
- Notify the President or Secretary when unable to attend a scheduled meeting.
- Remain informed about league operations, policies, and ongoing projects.
League Events and Volunteer Service
Board Members are expected to actively support league events and operations throughout the year, including:

Board Members are expected to:

Board Members shall:

Commitment Expectations
While commitment levels vary by position, all Board Members should understand that Little League is a
volunteer-driven organization that occasionally requires assistance beyond their listed responsibilities.
Board Members are expected to:
- Fulfill the duties of their assigned position to the best of their ability.
- Seek assistance when unable to complete responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively with other Board Members to ensure league success.
- Support league initiatives even when they fall outside their specific role.
Term of Service
Board Members are expected to serve their elected or appointed term and make every reasonable effort to fulfill the responsibilities associated with their position throughout that term. Should a Board Member become unable to fulfill the duties of their position for an extended period, they should communicate with the President as soon as possible so appropriate support or succession planning can occur.
